So I was hungry tonight and at this hour, only McD delivers.

I went to their online order thingy.

I reached the part where they are asking for unit number.

As I am staying in a landed house, obviously there is only house number and no unit number

I left it blank and I got a "Invalid house or unit number. Please try again."

EPIC FAIL ONE!

So after inputting several random numbers, im pissed and decided to just use the traditional method and call them.

The McD ppl answered my call and then I start telling them at how fail their online delivery is and etc

After about 2 mins of thrash talk, I placed my order, just when she was confirming my order, my phone died!

EPIC FAIL TWO!

I couldn't charge my phone either because there was something wrong with the charger lol

Then I used my iPhone to call McD again.

Again, they picked up and this time, asked for my phone number.

I realise the most epic fail of the night.

I DON'T KNOW MY PHONE NUMBER LOL!

Work is a bitch. The conspiracy is escalating! Everyone is out to get me! Everyone wants my life (like wants me dead)!

As Brainy said, suck it up! But no! There is only so much that you can suck up! People who suck it up all the way either died from sucking it all up too much and commited suicide OR exploded and turned into some serial killer!

I do not know what is it that people @ work want anymore. When I do not give stock to shop, I get shot! When I give stock over, I also get shot for giving so many (we are talking about 3 pieces of each item here btw) and complain that shop has no space???

And then there is this delivery man. I was making my way back to the office and there he was standing outside after pressing the doorbell. When I got nearer he pressed the bell again. I just opened the door and let him in, and then Mr OCD asked if it was me who pressed the doorbell. WHY THE HELL DO I NEED TO PRESS THE DOORBELL! (unless it is locked which wasn't the case now) and why is he not answering the door if the bell is ringing???

While checking stock from the same delivery man, I was half pissed. And then here we go, I realised there was a missing item only after the delivery man left. And of course it was a Saturday, office is closed, and then it is gonna be a long weekend.

Then there was a fedex shipment. Again, it was Saturday afternoon, Office is closed etc etc. I can't key that in since we don't have the freight charges. Can't key in the thing above too since there was missing items. The stars couldn't be more alligned!

Stuck.

And it was already almost time to knock off, and then Mr OCD comes to my table and point at one invoice buried under other papers.

"why this one not keyed in?"
"Where are the items?" I asked

By mountain, he meant a stack of boxes of Shipment A beside a whole other stack of other boxes of Shipment B, beside a whole lot more stack of other boxes of shipment C. Which was a mix of goodies from the land of PRC that Chris ordered. Btw, I swear to god that particular shipment arrived when I was not around and I am not informed about it in any way.
At this point I kinda snapped and...
"All also mountain! How I know that it was for this particular invoice??"

Yes I realise there is very much mistakes here.
1) Do not talk back to your higher up!
2) Do not say "how I know?" since we are supposed to know... But cmon...

So anyway I kinda just left, cancelled all meeting and cabbed home. Totally mood killer.

I am probably being childish here bitching and all. But really, WHAT THE HELL???

Won't be surprising if one day I come home and "Hi guys, I was just fired =D"....

EA Event @ the National Museum

Ok I dunno what was the event called. But basically some retailers were invited to go and see see the preview of new games, namely:

1) Dragon Age
2) Brutal Legends
3) Saboteur
4) Dante's Inferno

And several other games like Fifa 10, Need For Speed Shift and Nitro, Rock Band Beatles blablabla.

So Chris was asking me to go since there was this Retailer challenge or something which require us to go play game. Yeah who else is so free and can play games lol.

I thought we had to like compete against each other but we only had to fight against the computer and compare scores. We played Rockband Beatles, Fifa 10, Need for Speed Shift and Grand Slam Tennis. There were 6 participants from different Retailers like Seow Choon, Challenger etc. Can't remember them all since I was busy picking the catered food as they call out our names and trying to figure out where the hell is Michael.

Fifa 10
It is true, I suck at Soccer games. The last Fifa game I played was 97 which is more than 10 years ago!!! And then there was a confusing moment where I thought Square was shoot (in Winning Eleven that is). I was bloody hell in front of the goal post and there was a definite open goal and I pressed Square which obviously made my player kicked the ball so god damn far away like clearing a ball from his own goal post. orz
Final Result 0-0 (At least I did not concede 3 goals like another guy did!)

Rockband Beatles
We were made to play "I want to hold your hand" on the guitar and just compare score. The first guy picked easy, the second guy picked medium and died in 5 seconds. True Story. I played on medium tool and I couldn't activate my "Star power" for some reason. So I had a full bar and couldnt use my powers!! But anyway I think I topped that one.

Need for Speed Shift
Bleh, Racing game is probably the second game that I suxor at. Basically, if you can't play racing simulators, you just had to jam your finger on the accelerator! And brake at those knn turns with lower speed. There was even a guide path so it was quite easy but I think my score was just average. I peeked at the score sheet and there was a guy with better time than me =/

Grand Slam Tennis
Tennis on Wii. How hard can it be! Hell yes it can be hard when the CPU was on a higher diffculty setting! So anyway I was just swinging anyhow until I finally learnt how to play the game on the 3rd set. The Wii remote actually sense your follow through to do your spin/direction. I was finally getting a deuce in the final set but obviously the computer hax and stand in front of the net volleying every shit I throw at it. I are dunno how to lob... Once again I peeked at the sheet and I think everyone got raped 0-3 by the CPU. But at least I got a Deuce which kinda put me at a higher spot ^O^

The scores are tallied and they found out I was tied with this guy who had 0-0 on Fifa 10 as well. So they asked us to have a Sudden death, first goal wins. I was like "yah ok whatever" and just picked some Jiao team (it was on the US league by default) and I think it was LA Galaxy. Then this cb took his own sweet time browsing through the English league and picked Arsenal! Even I know that Arsenal > LA Galaxy!

So obviously I died... And later found out that this guy got First. Shiat!

Anyway Final result was me getting second (surprisingly with what I thought was a mediocre score) and I won like a bunch of goodies o.o

Yes I have conspiracy theories regarding the workplace!

Conspiracy at the maximum level.

1) My table

My office table is defined as messy when it really has nothing except the usual work stuff. Tissue paper within reach, a cup beside the monitor, pen/pencil etc beside the keyboard for easy access. And "Michael your table is very messy can you clean it up" Here I would insert the picture of the red man to emphasize my feeling, but I am just a little lazy at the moment.

2) Returning goods to the supplier

So I was told to return it when this supplier, who rarely comes, bring stock over. So Auntie put it on my table, and then the above happened. So it was moved to some other spot which is visible but can be forgotten. So obviously I forgotten lah, then Auntie ask why I never give back, I say I forgot, then she said she put on my table, "need notice board to remind you?" then bah, can you see what is happening here?

3) Preparing stuff to send to Store

I packed the boxes, seperated them for each store, AMK and Orchard. Labelled them etc and made sure there is enough way for trolleys to come in and shits. And then I got told again "why so messy??" WTH! Do you have OCD or something?? Everything has to be nicely stacked and alligned and what? This is the same person from (1) btw...

4) Topping up

System shows that stock of an item is available. I go warehouse, cannot find. "Why item lost??" So I can;t really give an answer since I am not always the one to pack it anyway. Guess where it is? Chris office and he forgot to bring them ot Orchard, or maybe he dont wanna bring them or whatever lah. /facepalm...

5) Emptying the bin

So we are clearing thrash. Ask me if I have any thrash from my desk, I said no (ok fine there was a piece of tissue). Then keep asking me if have or not, I say NO! And then "If I dig how??" whcih I told him off, "then you dig loh!"

I am not trying to make people hate me, but wtf? It is difficult to follow instruction from 3 different people and following them all.

Online play is bad though, even though I hear ppl saying that it doesn't lag for them, it does for me! Have to do all your combo in advance once the start of it hits. Currently learning 3 characters, Jin Ragna and Noel =D

Ragna's personality is very much like Gintoki from Gintama! even the voice actor, Tomokazu Sugita sounds very much like that in the Radio shows. I suspect that his real personality! Madao! (google that)

Side story: I think my iPhone is haunted! or maybe it is just going crazy. It randomly turns on the iPod and plays by itself! In the middle of the night somemore when I sleeping! And twice today in the office when I was behind taking stock...

I fell sick last week.

I went to the doctor in the evening only to find out that they don't have anymore evening service on a Saturday... Because a piece of paper pasted on their shutter stated so.

I went again on Sunday evening only to realise they don't have any freaking evening service anymore on a weekend... Because a big piece of paper covered their weekend working hours which I totally did not see previously.

I went again on a Monday morning and they tell me the doctor is not around till 10:45 am and suggested that I come back in the evening... I start work at 9:30 am btw

What The Hell!?

Yes I know you all are probably wondering why do I keep going back to the same doctor. Cos it is near and there is none other within walking distance plus it is the one I have been going for the past many many years.

The whole week was spent playing BlazBlue, my new love! Which is bad!

Everyday after work, I would go the arcade beside hub (more specifically above Mcdonald) and play BlazBlue till the arcade is closed followed by a cab home! Unhealthy!!! Can't wait for the PS3 release!

Thursday I went to watch Terminator with Steven and gang! For those who haven't watch it, it is pretty good, but story wise is just weird. Maybe more will be answered in the next sequel cos I heard it will be a Trilogy.

And today, I finally fall sick...

God damn it! How do I know?

This morning while crossing the road in front of the office, the strap of my sandals broke and I tripped! Heng never trip in the middle of the road!

Followed by my earphone is now F-ed up when I tried it on! QQ moar! Ok I know how it died actually, I left it in my pants and went into the washing machine lol... But it was working last week, so I thought, wow this earphone damn good! Kena wash and still working. Or not...

The week when I bought my DSi also had problems... grrr...

1) My DSi internal camera has this "red vertical line"
2) The "ahem" nds card wasn't working when I got home, so changed for another one
3) My new skullcandy earphone wire had a little cutting so the wire is kinda split open, and that is why I requested for a change and still no stock.

Auntie was asking what horrible things I did coz she believed in karma. Buy 3 things, all 3 things spoil =(

Ok so last update was on the 10th...

2 weeks ago my off was on a Thursday I think. Went out to Simei to play cards and then having dinner at Manpuku, that Japanese restaurant thingy and Tampines one.

And then last week I went to play cards at Simei again and then because Darius and Colin came all the way from the west, we decided to eat something nice. And so we went to Manpuku again lol -_-

And so I am so broke now!

1) Ps3 is abandoned
2) PSP is abandoned
3) NDSi is half abandoned
4) iPhone is only used to play Crystal Defenders on my buss ride home (it is very fun!)
5) I have been stoning at home alot.

I swear, nothing good happened today!

The day started out fine.

Summarised, Chris was having his lunch and was trying to promote his new Arcade Stick. So I was trying to be nice and help Chris. So I told him that I will help to set up the arcade stick. It just happens that the wire was not very long, the length was just nice to reach the PS3.

As I get back, I tripped over the boxes coz it was the day when new shipment comes and we were kinda in the middle of unpacking. So yesh, happy moment happened.

Box drop, trip wire, wire pull ps3, ps3 drop on floor, fighting stick fly. orz

Total Damage: Cracked PS3 tip (still working though), a Hori Fighting Stick with half snapped wire.

And that was just the start!

After that I think I kinda turned into xtra clumsy mode for the rest of the day. I almost dropped a stack of controller on to Auntie's head, and then I elbowed a female customer at the shoulder coz I was pointing at the god damn PS3 and when I pull back my arm, bish, you see one female customer kneeling. orz

I also almost spilled Aunties coffee coz some cb small kid pushed me from the back.

Then at the end of the day as I recall it and telling it to my colleague, I slapped a random dude who was running for the bus. orz

Oh that's not the end! I quarelled with the taxi driver as I was going home. I swear, we were in the middle of PIE, and suddenly he ask me if I wanna take the PIE. I told him in chinese "aren't we on the PIE???" then he also like "huh???" So I say exit Paya Lebar and he keep asking me if I wanna take the PIE SMLJ! So I keep giving him the hand signal of "GO STRAIGHT!"

Ah, too long never update! White Knight Chronicles is now officially abandoned lol.

The new craze is SF4!!!!

Bought the joystick, bought the game, going crazy online ever since.

Ryu is crazy imba, and when the match gets into those spam fireball match and you can just go...

METSU!!!! HADOKEN!!!!

Tearing through their fireball and ending it with an Ultra Combo Finish plus flashing yellow screen.
God!! That feels really good... I guess the dramatic cut scene when you do an Ultra move is really really great! Especially the opponent where their face would go o_O

And I keep forgetting to bring home the PS2 -> PS3 adapter. Can't afford to buy another joystick now that they are either ridiculously prices or non existant. I have a PS2 one that is basically the PS2 version of the Ps3 one. Ok that did not make any sense.

I'm talking about the Hori Real Arcade pro. I bought it back long ago when I was playing KOFXI, fell in love with it forever. Feels really really good!

Spring cleaning and craps

Ok so I was thinking of doing spring cleaning today. What sparked me to actually started cleaning my room was my PC!

It all started when my PC started making beeping noise whenever I play WoW or Left 4 Dead.

Side Track: for those who don't play L4D, please get it. It's Fun =D

Anyways I went to google it, and concluded that the most likely reason is overheating! It was the usual late night after coming home from work so I can't possibly use the vacuum cleaner else I would wake up like the whole house of students who have to go school the next morning.

Sorry no pictures taken as it was last minute, but seriously the dust was awesome! It was sticking to the heat sink of my GFX card and motherboard which is scary! Plus the fans too! Armed with only a wet cloth and 2 miserable cotton buds I had to scrape out all the dust =(

CPU with 4 fans + dusty room = Lose! orz

So today, I plan to clean my room with my roommate but that cb just went to sleep like an hour ago even though I told him the night before that I want to start cleaning early!

The guide book shelf is very cramp so we like to stuff the guide books in there even though it is really full, which causes it to fall. I probably have this as a title of my post many times coz my luck is just that bad. I think it started after I had my Birthday this year...

18th

I was repairing PSP on a weekend even though we are not supposed to coz it might get busy and the shop will be shorthanded. Another reason is probably not to rush through the repair. Well I learnt it the hard way.

It was supposed to be just a simple repair of the O button. I was abit in a rush I guess, that I didn't realise I broke the clip that connects the motherboard and the screen... In the end had to replace the motherboard T_T

19th

Card tournaments with super duper bad hand is nothing new I guess.... But at least I get to enjoy a nice dinner with friends.

Had dinner at Swensens with Alex, Jeff and Colin. Fun times, lots of laughter and nonsense.

A customer came back to collect his repair set. Long story short, it was my mistake and a wrong choice of words written on the slip of paper. I told the customer it will be a maximum of 50$ to repair but I wrote "Quoted 50$" on the paper. So yah, the customer had the "wah you quote me maximum 50 and I got charged 50" that kind of feeling =/

Another customer came back and say her battery is missing when she collect her set. For us, it is standard to return batt/Mem Stick/UMD to customer since we don't want to lose any of it while repairing. So yah she keep insisting that I never give her back the battery when I collect her set. Luckily she is ok type of person, unlike the customer from the previous day.

Down with major flu. Coughing like crazy, blocked nose and stuff. 2 Days mc woot. But yah Still not feeling well today but I had to go work anyways since shop was kinda short handed and I think 3 days mc on a weekend was too much lol.

After being MIA for so long in WoW, I decided to play around for a little every once in awhile. Unfortunately my account expired a few days ago and I'm still thinking whether to renew or not. You must be wondering why only now then my account expired.

Reason was I casted a scroll of resurrection on Datechiez and got a 1 month free plus my own 2 months which was hmmm... end of May or something.

So anyways, now that PTR is up with all the new talents from WOTLK and rubbish, I downloaded the PTR.

And woot, the login screen is bloody cool!

The first thing I see when the game start up is the Frost Wyrm flying across and then landing there!

Apparently the "south american" couldn't pronounce Playmat. And yes you would've guessed it by now, they pronounced it as "Playmate"! So it's like

"Hi, can you please sign on my playmate?"

etc...

After touching many many "playmates" over the Worlds weekend, I wanted to buy one for myself. But yah, crazy angmoh overprice them. Some of them are even ugly! Who wants a Psycho Lord playmat! Ok lah, it was a Nationals playmat but I still think it was overpriced. So I bought one off ebay =D

Ah so here I am back from Berlin. Been a week so I decided to update a little =D

Anyway, I didn't do so good due to the poor match up against Monarch decks. But what matters was the experience =Dv

Ok so anyways tournaments aside.

Day 1:
Went to Changi airport early that day with Suikai and gang. Yong Hao went all the way in crutches, I'm so touched. And then I found out that my flight got delayed all the way to 4 AM and that would mean missing my transfer flight in London.

So we (me and the JJ rep) got changed to Air France and flew to Paris instead of London. Flight time was about 12 hours and I spent most of it sleeping and watched Kung Fu Panda while eating breakfast =D

Day 2:
Reached Paris in the morning, with only 1 hour transit time, we were rushing like crazy. The tight security check wasn't of any help either. Well anyway we barely made it. The flight to Berlin was about 1 hour 30 mins. We were supposed to meet the UDE/Konami guy at 11, but coz we took a diff flight we decided to meet up with the Msians at 10 instead. Thank god for the Schedule sheet. So we met the Msians and then took the transport together to the Hotel. We were not able to check in since it was too early and was told that the room will be ready at 2 PM.

Saw some players playing at the Lobby already and I recognised one of them as Andres Toro, the champ from last year. Didn't talk much and went out for a walk with the Msia rep. The map was not of any help, I swear! So after exploring the neighbourhood a little, we went back.

When I was going down to the lobby I was greeted by the HK Konami manager or something. She was like "oh you are the Sg rep? The Hk rep wants to meet you very much!" I was like wtf?

So I went up to my room to place my luggage and stuff and then suddenly this guy from opposite my room was like "hey, are you playing the world tournament?" I was like "yeah?" and he introduced himself as the HK rep haha. He was like all excited and stuff.

Went down to the lobby once more to play deck. And soon the crowd gathered, the US people, the South American people etc. Later on, a whole group of Japanese gathered. Like the whole family, the father, the mother, the grandma, the son etc etc. This may sound like a joke but no, I'm not kidding lol.

After that, it was 7 and everyone was escorted to the ballroom to have the dinner and briefing and stuff. Then there were Konami people going around with Cameras and interviewing the different representatives. Everyone was to get a goodie bag which contained this.

Plastic bag, water Bottle, Key Chain, Note pad, pen, Lanyard with my name on it, Chimaera Promo, and a booklet showing all the duelist. And a pack of deck pro since we were not allowed to use our own. Funny story, which would be told later =D

I thought wow, Chimaera promo, must be damn rare! or so I thought....

So anyways, the 4 of us Asian duelist decided to go back to the room and shower and stuff and then meet back at the lobby to play some games. I spend most of the time sleeping at the lobby. Its 9 Berlin time which is equivalent to 3 AM Sg time!! And that ends day 2.

Day 3:

Couldn't really sleep and was awake by 5-6 AM, which equates to 12 PM SG time. Made my deck in the morning, deciding what to add into my deck, changing into the deck protectors provided and stuff.

Lesson Learnt: Last minute deck building = bad.

And so me and JJ rep went down to have our breakfast. It was the usual American Breakfast style. So just picked the usual stuff like bread, yogurt, scrambled egg and rubbish.

The 4 of us Asian reps were sitting at the same table and I was trying to explain to them how the swiss round works. I was telling them the importance of not getting raped on the first round. Yes it ironic that all of us got raped the first round LOL. Well except the TW rep since he was paired against the Msia rep.

Side Story: When you see 2 labels on 2 different bottles at the beverage corner. One says "Drinking water with Gas" and "Drinking water without gas" you would take the one without gas since its... well, without gas. But I was wrong! The one without gas, do contain gas anyways. So hard to find god damn STILL water. Drinking water = burden. WTB still water =( Oh yes I forgot to add, they threw away my 2 bottles of Ice mountain from my hand carry when I am at the departure gate in Changi coz apparently you cannot bring in more than 100 ml of liquid on board. cb!

We were told to meet at 9.30 by the lobby to take the coach which is gonna take us to the event site. More purchase of cards here. I saw the Japanese guys and I asked them for Mezuki.

"Mezuki?" I asked.
"hai" taking out his album, which contained 9 of it btw.
"Ikura?"
"4 euro"
"Zenbu, ok?"
And that was how I bought 8 mezukis, the Msia rep wanted 1...

We couldn't wait any longer and decided to walk there. It was like less than 5 mins walk...

The area is super super crowded. The first thing that greeted me was random UDE ppl in yellow shirt giving away goodie bags which I kinda rejected coz I thought "oh I have already". That was so dumb of me! This was the time that I realise every god damn bag contains the Chimera Promo lol. But yah we were like trying to find our way. We don't even know where to go? Like do we have to register our decks, or like meet some UDE stuff or whatever lah?

I dunno what happened but I just followed the HK lady and somehow we managed to end up in the Player's room. The room is poorly lit imo, but it had sofa and refreshments and rubbish.

So after we submitted our deck list to the judges sitting at one emo corner of the room, the head judge came and briefed us.

"Play slowly! Communication is very important!"

He just kept repeating that...

So we had to wait at the backstage, and wait as they announce the player's name one by one and sit at our assigned tables. When I went up, I was told to go to table 4, which I did. Sitting opposite of me was Miguel Garcia. And then when I took out my deck, one of the judges approaches me and told me I was sitting at the wrong table... He told me I was supposed to be sitting at the feature match area.

"W T F!?"
*Pressure level increased*

I kept joking that I wanted to have a feature match since Viper deck is so cute and rarely seen in the meta. But not this early omg! Oh, I recognised Jason Grebher Meyer from metagame.com. He is fat IRL lol.

So I got paired with Mr Yoshaaaaa, and we all know the outcome..

So when we got back into the Player resting area, the HK rep was like "omg korean deck strong! main deck skill drain!" And that was pretty much how "mushroom head" originated.

The second round was against a funny French guy. Ok honestly I should stop calling people funny, he is more like retarded. Showing me his "Star tokens" which is token card but with pictures of the "famous" yugioh players. I dunno any of them btw.

Hitting into Jujitsu, followed by Phoenix Wing Blast was not gay at all. and he keep going "oh sorry, I had Trap Dust Chute for both first turns" and "I don't know what to side against your deck" blablabla.

With 2 loss, its quite emo already, if I were to make it I have to win the next 3 rounds.

Third round was against the Australian ah beng. Looks beng-ish with his spiky hairstyle and ear piercings and stuff.

"Please no more god damn emperor decks!" I thought.

Great! It was a lightlord deck and no way am I gonna lose! Luckily I won lol. So I thought there is still some hope.... Until I met my next opponent...

It was German's very own David Dursun who knows like very very little english. It was a retarded emperor deck with like 20+ traps. I have no idea how to win this deck. So yeah, halfway you kinda have this feeling inside you that says "ok forget it, abit don't feel like playing liao" coz of his covered cards lol. He had like 4-5 cards behind AND in front.

So with 3 losses it's as good as GG.

Fifth round was against everyone's idol, Chris Bowling. I was like "omg, banana told me to ram this guy" hahaha. So we sat down and he greeted me..

" So where are you from?"
"oh, Singapore.."
"Where is that?"
"South east asia, near Malaysia" (I said Malaysia since it's like the bigger piece of land on the map but...)
"uhm, Where is Malaysia??"
(OMG THIS GUY IS RETARDED!)
And then Jason Grebher Meyer who was still sitting at the featured match area was like laughing.

Before the match start he asked me how many wins I got. I told him one and he went like oh shit I got paired down lolol. And then he asked me to let him win coz he stood a better chance.

"I promise I'll top you up"
And I said no lol.

And so we played, I think he had shit hand. It was my Neos and Shining angel beating him to death. Then he "I wont side if you wont side." I actually fell for it, I should've sided and fuck him all the way coz I knew he was playing dark deck haha. But since it's like the last match, and no hope liao, you also know I will probably just play for the fun of it.

Second round I got OTK-ed. Storm on oppresion, then some brain control, Dark Armed, MOBC thingy. And 3rd round was me with god wind hand vs Raiza and Gaius. GG

After waiting long long, they finally announced the top 8 players and then played the Yugioh 5ds anime on the big screen. English dubs = suxor.

We all went back to the hotel, and try to help TW rep with all the top 8 decks since he also has like 0 knowledge of english. Dinner was at an American Steak house thingy and I didn't know the HK lady was paying for it! I didn't order anything expensive since I wanted to spend my money on cards lol.

Most of the jokes revolves around mushroom head. I think we are all damn cb.

Night time was spent gathering at the lobby again. This time against the other angmohs. And then they saw my Synchro deck and wanted to play with it. It was mostly thrashing except the GB guy who I swear had book of moon on every round. My X saber keep getting covered and raped by big bird.

Played till about 2 AM and went to sleep.

End of day 3.

FFIV is hard!

Ok so I got back "my nds" from Jeryl who borrowed for a few days. I was gonna return it to the shop but well I tried FFIV for awhile.

I swear it's hard compared to the other FF hahaha. Or maybe I just haven't played RPG games in awhile...

I started a new game. First mission, I didn't know that it will be boss fight at the end of the cave. Didn't heal up and Kain died in one blow.... So it was pretty much Cecil soloing the boss with watever potions I have.

Screw that, I even tried Jeryl's saving. The cave is a bitch. The enemies did Aoe Sleep, Aoe Silence blablabla. Since when did Final Fantasy became so hard orz

I think I might be able to finally save some money starting this month! The past few months pay all are immediately spent on crazy shits. PSP, PS3, PS3 Games, Yugioh Booster boxes etc etc

At least that's what I thought when I got my pay yesterday...

Well there was nothing to buy this month, Yugioh no more new packs (except the Mezuki pack but heck I have 3) I wanted to buy a new phone but I guess that could wait too. There is also no interesting PS3 games this month. And then suddenly I recalled that I am going to Berlin...

Considering that I don't really have any cards of trade value, I probably have to use cash to buy anything that I might be interested on =(

Pray: Get into top 8 and get all the goodies. Even better still if I win lolol. But blah...

PS: TBC is still as irritating as ever and I think she has grown immune to all the backstabbing and scolding in the workplace lol.

Been awhile since I update. But anyways I "borrowed" the game from shop haha. A suitable game for ppl who has God Complex like me...

Chris and Auntie went to China for holiday so shop was kinda free. So I played in the shop haha. The shop was quite empty lah so Adrian didn't mind.

Anyway some joke ah, I keep attacking China LOL! And their Leader keep asking for peace and I keep rejecting. Take that PRC bastards!

PRC ppl are @#%^$&#!

Well anyways they are really rude. Some incidents I encounter when working in AMK Hub.

#1 The toilet Incident

The toilet in AMK has cleaning time every 3 hours. So I calculated nice nice that I would go there at the end of the washing period. So this one time I went there and they were still cleaning, well actually the person was finishing up mopping the floor. The entrance was blocked by the "washing sign".

So there I was, standing there and waiting for them to remove the sign. The floor wasn't even wet to begin with, then the cleaner and another person was happily chatting away outside the entrance. So am I invisible? I need to go in and use the god damn toilet lah! Worse still it's over their washing time already. So I asked if I could enter and use the toilet, he said no and continue chatting in that loud irritating PRC accent. Bastard!

#2 The Cargo Lift Incident

This happened on another day. I had to clear the cardboard boxes from the shop. So I brought it down to the basement where they collect the rubbish and stuff. So when the lift arrived, there were already some PRC ppl in there. They were gonna dump the big rubbish trolley from the food court. Since they entered first, I'm obviously closer to the entrance of the lift. Oh and I moved to the side a little cos I had to let ppl come in also.

So when we reached basement, naturally I would go out first since I was closer to the entrance. I was pushing the trolley halfway through the lift door and those PRC bastards and a bitch just pushed their big rubbish trolley out. Just cut my path and I had no choice but to pull back and wait there as they push the god damn trolley out. I had to siam a little, I don't want any of the rubbish to end up on me...

So yah.... GOT SO URGENT OR NOT!

#3 The rubbish dump Incident

This is actually linked to the above. I remember Auntie Crystal told me that there are 2 dump sites. One for the normal rubbish and one more for cardboard boxes. So there I was going to the Cardboard area and I was stopped by yet another PRC ppl there who were unpacking the boxes and flattening them.

He told me "no don't throw here, throw there" Pointing at where the normal rubbish should go. So I asked, "this is cardboard wat?" And he just refused to take the cardboard boxes... Totally dunno for wtf reason anyway and I've had enough PRC incident so I just left quietly.

It was Sunday night. I bought Listerine mouth wash. Was bored so I played DO with Colin. I was dying so I thought I can use the Mouthwash already. Then suddenly I draw hope and got engrossed while the mouthwash is still in my mouth.

Next day I lost my sense of taste lol. And it's still ongoing =/ Dunno if it is serious..

Double Movie weekend!

Watched Get Smart with Darius on Friday night and then followed by Dont Mess with the Zohan last night. I was gonna LFG for movie but I guess I was lucky =D

Both were pretty good, but Zohan got kinda boring in the middle when there were lack of action while Get Smart was a bit short. =/

And it's gonna be my off day tomorrow woot! I wonder if I should go play Yugioh lol. Need some training for Germany but at the same time I feel like I need rest. But thinking of the what little time I have to train... blablabla By the time I finished thinking, nothing gets done in the end... lol

The crazy week is over!

I didn't have any off days this week coz I took 2 off days the previous week coz Adrian had some personal problem and had to take xtra off days this week.

So here is a summary of what happened this week:

Monday -Slack as usual

Tuesday - Shipment of 10 rockband came, btw we were short handed. So who is left to unpack and arrange them nicely?? Me loh!

Wednesday - As preparation for MGS4, Chris ordered like really alot of PS3. So yeah in the evening 50 boxes of PS3 came, and yeah it was me again to stack them all over the shop. If Raymond wasn't around I would probably be dead crushed under all the PS3. (probably a dream come true for hardcore playstation fans)

Thursday - Ultimate day, MGS4 day. Phone ring non stop, customer come in and ask about it non stop. Then have to check the pre order list see they order or not and shit.

Friday to Sunday - The usual crazy weekend like any other weekend woot!

Lessons Learnt:

1) A box of MGS4 Guide book is heavier than 2 boxes of Rockband.
2) MGS4 is too cool and you just can't stop playing even when you are tired.
3) Never ever work for more than the intended number of days. (I worked for 10 days straight now)
4) TBC (the bitch cake) is still as irritating.

Some comical death while I was playing MGS4.

1) I was detected by the enemy and my stress level was really high. I hid in the shallow water to evade the enemies. I wasn't sure where the "breath" bar was (if there was one) but well anyway I didn't know where it was and drowned in less than 5 seconds.

2) I was walking around in this building and it had really alot of traps. Since I played without the guide book (yes I have the book, but wanted to play without it), I triggered alot of the traps and was low on health. So as I explore and slowly disarming some of the Claymores, I saw a Playboy magazine on the couch! So I thought "zomg a Playboy magazine!" and ran to it. Stepped on a Claymore and died!

New work environment!

No I didn't quit my job. Sometimes I wish I did but well, that's another story.

So anyway, with so many people leaving (NS and further studies and shits like that) Chris hired a few new people. So anyway everything seems pretty much the same, me the newbie suddenly got boosted up in rank (and responsibility)!

Apparently it sux. So now I have to do all the things that I usually do not have to care and well it's really crap. Lonely me have to top up games from about 50% of the cupboards all by myself. /Emo

Actually me and Adrian have to do most of the things now. I dunno how Adrian manage when it's my off day lol, coz when Adrian is off I swear I could almost kill myself in the middle of preparing sets. Auntie just laughs at me =(

Everything else are about the same. I stopped WoW at the moment. I think Amitofo is dying, alot of people are quitting due to rl issues. I'm crazy about yugioh now, maybe coz there are people I can rape/scold during my off days when I am stressed =/

Busy week

Bah, after getting my PR suddenly there's so many things to do.

1) Medical Check up

Yet again. Nope, not for NS, sorry to disappoint those who wish me dead. Spent a whole day to go all over the place to get blood test and X ray done. Of course it meant a day wasted.

2) Going to the immigration

To go through the formalities and do my IC. I arrived at 1.40 for my appointment at 2. I was only served at 2.30 even though it was stated on my queue number that I am the only one queuing? And then queue again for my IC to be done... and then more waiting to collect back my passport... Another great day wasted (it was my off btw!)

3) Dead on the bed

Sickish when I got home. The usual symptoms of fever, difficulty swallowing and body aches.

Movie night

Been a while since I watched movies, especially now that I'm working all the freaking time and get off work late at night. Only options was to watch midnight movies which I thought will probably never happen.

Thank god Kelvin was around last Saturday. Watched Speed Racer with Kelvin and Yong Hao.

Speed Racer was great, alot of action. Only complaint was the super colourful bright lights that are flashing alot during the show... Really alot...

If there was anyone with brain problem or something, they would probably have uncontrollable seizure right about the middle of the show and foam in the mouth =/ I mean... Even Japanese kids can have seizure from Pikachu's Thunderbolt in Japan lol

Grand Theft Auto IV!?

You must be thinking "Baha doesnt have PS3/Xbox360!?" Well you are wrong!

Yes it's true, I got myself a PS3. Damn it, sometimes I think working is bad... Makes you feel you got money... Well anyways, I bought just for the sake of playing GTA lol. Call me crazy, but I'm a fan of the game since the PS2.

Got myself the silver set, which is pretty cool. So I quickly cabbed home to set up everything. Bought all the necessary stuff, the optical cable, the DVI cable, the Screen Guard! Oh btw, the screen guard doesn't stick if you are getting the silver set coz of its matte finish. I found the screen guard on the floor when I wake up in the morning lol...

So anyways, got everything connected and voila! But wait! What is this! Theres an "Out of Range" message appearing in the middle of the screen!! I can see the images and everything, even managed to start the game except the damn box in the middle of the screen! Noooo!!!

Called Adrian for help! I can't be buying another TV for this! I got no money! Long story short, after some super long conversation on the phone, I finally just gave up and played the GTA with the box in the middle of the screen... Driving was horrible with the box blocking, playing pool/bowling was impossible lol... So I just went to sleep after that, bah!

In the morning, I went crazy and start searching the net for solution and I did find some weird ones such as connecting it to the HDMI and to the normal TV and change setting and watever... So it was like me with PS3 controller in hand, laptop on lap, lousy TV on the floor while facing my LCD monitor as I try all the different settings. Got it to work in the end and went to work happily.

So.... GTA IV rocks!!! The gameplay, the graphics and all the xtra stuff are like super awesome. Was watching the TV Broadcast in game and couldn't stop laughing. The multiplayer is even cooler. I tried playing last night and did this 1v1 death match. So much fun... It was a really good buy.

Off topic and totally irrelevant: So on Saturday, while I'm having my toilet break aka go around AMK Hub to buy snacks time, I got "attacked"!

It was around mid afternoon, I was queuing to buy the Toast at Toastbox. When it was finally my turn, I felt that my back got touched by someone. And then proceeded to hug my arm.

So my mind was like (in the following order):
A) Someone familiar is disturbing me
B) Some crazy person is disturbing me
C) W T F !?

So as I looked at my assailant, turns out to be a girl who thought I was her boyfriend. The boyfriend already ordered and walked away and she didn't see lol..... So yah she quickly regrouped with her boyfriend and she was like laughing and very paiseh. =/

Toilet breaks are interesting.

Just watched the first episode lol.

Graphic is awesome. The duel looked really good. The overall anime drawing was really good too. Totally didn't feel like I was watching a yugioh anime, at least till they started dueling, on a motorbike...

Why the hell do they have to be on the bike to duel. If they were to duel normally, it would look just as good. Konami and their money making scheme...

Bleh, all my updates are about games. Oh well, what can you expect when you work in a gameshop.

So anyways, today the shipment for Monster hunter limited edition came. I didn't wanna buy at first since I know it would be costly, until I saw the nice box! Japanese people are evil, make the box until so nice.

Got to play it today for the first time. Yes I are nub, never played the Japanese one like everyone else did. But hey, I was busy with WoW =(

Well anyways played for about 4+ hours now and I just got my Bahamut summon. zOMG the Bahamut is uber cool!!!!!!!!!!!! The mega flare!!!!

I went and spoil myself and found another video of Bahamut in the game.

Yes, everyone is playing it, including me.

Bought it last week. Sold my first copy away to Bkk since he had no games for the PSP he purchased from Funz. Got the second copy which was the last copy available lol.

Well after playing few times on my trip to work/home, I completed it! Very short game imo, no wonder it's only $39 bucks. But it was fun while it lasted.

The last 2 bosses is a bitch though. One of the boss abilities was raining meteor and seeing your patapons running as they catch fire was amusing for about 5 seconds and then you realize your troops are getting wiped. Took me a whole night to realise that it was actually quite "easy" to defeat the boss. In common game terms that I usually use, the boss is "paper"!!
